Queens Man Busted by Police After Allegedly Burglarizing Hicksville Pharmacy

The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man for an incident that occurred on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 3:38 am in Hicksville.
 
According to Detectives, Eighth Precinct officers responded to Walgreens, located at 210 South Broadway, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that a male subject broke the front window of the store, entered the store and removed various merchandise from the shelves. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.
 
After a thorough investigation, Ali Idrizi, 30, of 81-05 135th Street, was located in the parking lot of the Hicksville train station and was placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Idrizi is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Petit Larceny. He will be arraigned on Friday, November 29, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
