Riverhead, NY - November 30, 2016 - In accordance with the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), Suffolk County will convene public hearings concerning the Suffolk County Subwatersheds Wastewater Plan, specifically the development of a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement.

The plan -- a Suffolk County Reclaim Our Water and Long Island Nitrogen Action Plan initiative --will provide evaluations and recommendations toward the development of a countywide wastewater management program to reduce nitrogen loading from wastewater sources.
