On Yelp, Janine C, from East Northport, gave Village the Soul of India five stars.

“Craving Dosa, we just tried Village-The Soul of India last night,” she wrote. “What a great new Vegetarian South/North Indian restaurant! We got to meet owner's Sarvinder and Logo, who were so friendly, welcoming and attentive… They have an enormous menu that serves up not just Vegetarian Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine, but also includes a large amount of Vegan and Jain options as well.”

Aditya N agreed.

“Great addition to Hicksville and probably the best dosas on Long Island,” Aditya wrote. “Try their Jiini dosa or Matka dosa, both great options. Very friendly staff and great service as well.”
