Jon Dignam, the Long Islander who created a popular Google map with over 550 homes decorated for the holidays, recently told LongIsland.com that the LI Lights Map has over 3.4 million views. Each house in the map has a picture and he said it is “super easy to use.”

He is also looking for help building out the list.

Dignam encourages new submissions to the comprehensive map of homes decorated for the holidays. He invited people who want to add a house to email him at jonmtme@yahoo.com. To submit people just need a couple pictures and an address.

There is also a Google spreadsheet that lists all of the homes organized by town.

“There are a lot of houses that need to be verified so assistance is needed,” Dignam said in an online post. “This is a yearly community project that I run. The success of this map is due to so many nice people taking a moment to share some info or pictures.”
