New Hyde Park, NY - December 2nd, 2013 - Five Corners Car Wash, in New Hyde Park will be hosting a fundraiser called Bubbly Smiles to benefit the children and families of North Shore LIJ Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Since the children are our future, and Cohen Children’s Medical Center is our neighbor we figured what better way to show our support, than by hosting a fundraiser for such a great cause…our future. This holiday season Five Corners will be hosting this wonderful sponsorship since community is so important to us here at Five Corners Auto Salon. Community is important to us at Five Corners because it represents family and unity, and giving back is a great way of showing our thanks to our customers, friends, family and most importantly our neighborhood. The funds will be dispersed throughout Cohen Children’s Medical Center to the departments and families as needed. Help us as we unite to raise money for a great cause; Spreading Bubbly Smiles among our children and their families. We invite you, the media, to come join us, to help us get the word out so we can help put those Bubbly Smiles back where they belong. The event will run from November 26th through December 22nd at 2080 Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park, NY 11040.
Bubbly Smiles campaign was created by Park Bench Marketing which is comprised of four Baruch College students. The project was to come up with a marketing concept and plan of implementation for their semester course requirement. Professor Mike Lissaur has been utilizing his marketing company known as Park Bench throughout the past few years to give students an invaluable lesson that can’t be taught in a text book or classroom setting. This experience entails working closely with businesses or organizations in the real world to develop a marketing concept and plan the implementation. From artwork to implementation, the Five Corners family thanks Park Bench for all its efforts.
While the Five Corners family has for over thirty years been eager to help the local schools, houses of worship, athletic groups and civic organizations, it was felt that this is the right time to take the next logical step and sponsor an event for an extremely worthwhile cause. This event is being hosted and sponsored by Five Corners Car Wash. Five Corners has so far donated over 25 prizes in this raffle to help entice people to donate to this cause as well as printed air fresheners and t-shirts as thank you giveaways.
