Written by Long Island News & PR  |  03. December 2013

Brightwaters, NY - December 2, 2013 - Recently Suffolk County Legislator Tom Barraga (R-West Islip) collaborated with the Brightwaters Neighborhood Watch Committee, New York State Senator Phil Boyle, and the Bay Shore/Brightwaters Library in hosting a New York State Operation Safe Child Photo Id Session at the Bay Shore/Brightwaters Library. Families from the Bay Shore and Brightwaters Communities came out to have their children’s pictures and fingerprints taken and placed onto a free, wallet sized ID card containing the child’s name, biographical information (date of birth, age, gender, height, hair and eye color). The card was created in under two minutes and can be carried in a wallet or purse.
