Sunflower Cafe & Bakery - No sooner was the ink dry on the sale when the new owners of Le Soir announced plans for the next iteration of the restaurant at 825 Montauk Highway in Bayport. Sunflower Cafe & Bakery will replace Le Soir beginning December 12th.
Taylor Swift pop up restaurant - Welcome to Long Beach, Swifties. Your seat at the Taylor Swift pop up restaurant is ready for you. The T-swivel experience is finally open at The Ugly Duckling at 906 W Beech Street in Long Beach.
Struggletown BBQ - The owners of Struggletown BBQ food truck have announced the day they will swing open the doors at their first permanent restaurant spot in Mount Sinai. On their Facebook page the former barbecue food truck said they are eyeing Saturday, December 9th for their grand opening. Where: 1028 Rt 25A in Mount Sinai.
Pelicana Chicken - This Korean fried chicken restaurant opening up in Plainview already has multiple locations in New York City but this will be their first foray on Long Island. Where: 42 Woodbury Road in Plainview.
Dalers Pizza Parlor - A new pizzeria from the owners of Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar opened in Farmingdale Village at 331 Main Street. The pizzeria has been teasing Farmindalers for months with a renovated storefront, signage, and social media posts as far back as March saying they were opening sometime this year and they finally started slinging pies.
The Rabbit Hole Bar & Grill - The Rabbit Hole touts itself as a “chef created gastropub in the heart of South Merrick.” They officially reopened as of November 29th. Where: 1960 Bayberry Avenue, Merrick, www.therabbitholeli.com.
