Mineola, NY - December 5, 2016 - The Public Information Office reports the details of a Bias Incident that was reported on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 6:30 am. in Mineola.

According to police, Third Precinct Police officers responded to a Washington Avenue residence for a report of graffiti. Police observed a red spray painted swastika along with the words “Make America White Again” in black spray paint. They also discovered vulgar and disparaging remarks regarding African Americans and Middle Eastern people. In addition, there was also similar remarks spray painted on a sidewalk located on Elm Place.
