Officials Report Jogger Critically Injured in Stony Brook Motor Vehicle Crash

SCPD are investigating a vehicle crash that injured a pedestrian in Stony Brook.

Stony Brook, NY - December 5, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that critically injured a pedestrian in Stony Brook on Tuesday, December 4.
 
Noah Bernard Farrelly, 18, of Binghamton, New York was jogging across southbound Nicolls Road at the intersection of Health Sciences Drive, crossing against the light, when he was struck by a 2018 Dodge Caravan at 10:50 a.m.
 
Farrelly was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The driver of the Dodge, Mohammad Refaat, 65, of Patchogue, was not injured.
 
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Sixth Squad Detectives at 631-854-8652.
