Albany, NY - December 6, 2013 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today launched a statewide toy, coat and school supplies holiday giving drive to benefit families in need throughout New York.
"New Yorkers have a long tradition of generosity and charity, particularly during the holidays when we have always come together to support our neighbors and those who need our help the most,” said Governor Cuomo. “As we celebrate with family and friends this holiday season, I encourage all New Yorkers to remember those less fortunate and pitch in whatever they are able by donating clothing, toys, or school supplies to help bring some much-needed relief and cheer to families in need.”
