Hempstead, NY - December 6th, 2014 - The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Saturday, December 06, 2014 at 1:16 am in Hempstead.
According to detectives, two male victims were crossing Clinton Street at Dartmouth Street from west to east when they were struck by an orange 2013 Dodge Challenger travelling northbound on Clinton Street. One of the victims sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The second victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Identification of the deceased victim is being withheld pending family notification. The vehicle was impounded at the scene.
This investigation is on-going.
