The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, will celebrate its parent team during their annual affiliate night game in a matchup against the Delaware Blue Coats this at 7 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 6 at Nassau Coliseum.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a co-branded BK Nets x LI Nets tote bag, free parking, and the evening will also include special in-game performances by Brooklyn’s Team Hype and The Brooklynettes with the Long Island Nets Dance Team. Additionally, Brooklyn Basketball will take over the Kids Zone, where fans can participate in a free “Kids Combine” comprised of a series of basketball agility tests.

The LI Nets will also host a toy drive at the game in Section Three, with all contributions donated to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Long Island. Fans who donate new and unwrapped toys will be given the opportunity to take a photo on the LI Nets court and receive a 20 percent discount for the Long Island Nets’ 2025 Summer Camp.

The Long Island Nets started NBA G League play as Brooklyn’s affiliate during the 2016-17 season and played its inaugural season at Barclays Center prior to moving to Nassau Coliseum. Brooklyn’s 2024-25 roster features 13 players with NBA G League experience and three players that have played with the Long Island Nets this season – Jaylen Martin, Dariq Whitehead and Cui Yongxi.
