NCPD report the arrests of Liam Kearney of Glen Head, 21, and Joseph Alvinoof Glen Cove, 26, of Glen Cove on 12/7.

Glen Head, NY - December 8, 2017 - Third Squad detectives report the arrests of two men for a commercial burglary that occurred on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 8:45 pm in Glen Head.
 
According to detectives, Liam Kearney, 21, of Glen Head and Joseph Alvino, 26, of Glen Cove, broke a window and entered DeAngelis LTD., 262 Glen Head Road and removed a credit card belonging to an employee.
 
A subsequent investigation revealed that both subjects used that credit card to make multiple unauthorized purchases at local businesses. Both Kearney and Alvino were identified, located and placed under arrest on 12/7/2017.
 
Kearney is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, four (4) counts of Forgery 2nd Degree, four (4) counts of Identity Theft 1st Degree, four (4) counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree.
 
Alvino is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and three (3) counts of Identity Theft 1st Degree.
Both defendants will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 12/8/2017.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
