Dix Hills, NY - December 10, 2013 - Recently, Legislator Thomas Barraga (R-West Islip) met with students seeking their Bachelor’s degree with Empire State College. The students came in to discuss health issues facing Suffolk County. There was an in depth discussion on topics including the Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Hospital in Dix Hills, the future privatizing of the remaining six Suffolk County Health Clinics and the recent closing of the John Jay Foley Nursing Facility.
