NCPD: Elmont UBER Driver Arrested for Repeatedly Exposing Himself to Passenger

Garden City, NY - December 12, 2017 - The Garden City Police Department reports the details of an arrest for Public Lewdness that occurred on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 7:30 a.m.
 
According to detectives, Taylor Evans, 24, of Elmont, while performing his duties as an UBER driver, picked up his passenger at her home in Bethpage. While traveling on Old Country Road in Garden City, the defendant undid his zipper and exposed himself. The defendant kept exposing himself for the duration of the ride. Further investigation identified the defendant and he was arrested without incident.
 
The Garden City Police Department urges anyone that feels they are also a victim to contact Garden City Detective Squad at 516-465-4150. All callers will remain anonymous.
 
The defendant was charged with one count of Public Lewdness and will be arraigned on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
