Come help us celebrate the 60 amazing years since Port Jefferson became a village, with a lively in-person event full of fun, history, and community

An ‘Event to Remember’ will be held at the Village Center on December 12th, 2023 and will benefit the Long Island Seaport & Eco Center Whaleboat build. LISEC will be featuring their exciting whaleboat build in construction form.

Let’s all herald this special milestone at the Village Center, located at 101 East Broadway, Port Jefferson. It’s going to be an exciting event filled with fun, food, and festivities to commemorate the 1963 Incorporation of the Village of Port Jefferson.

Whether you’re a long-time resident, have moved away or are new to the area, this event is a great opportunity to connect with the community and learn about the history of our beloved Village.

Every dollar contributed at this event will go towards LISEC and their Whaleboat 1776 Project.

There will be photos, video, great conversation, food and wine as well as live panel discussions. Bring your family and friends to enjoy an evening of entertainment and nostalgia.

Thanks to TBR News Media, we are also publishing a commemorative keepsake journal. If you would like to place an ad in this special printed piece, please call Kathleen Gobos at: 631-751-7744.
