Officials to Educate Residents & Promote Holiday Safety.

Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine will join the Suffolk County Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services, the Suffolk County Fire Academy and local fire officials to promote home fire safety ahead of the holiday season.
 
Officials will conduct a live demonstration of a Christmas tree fire to educate residents and provide important information to ensure home safety. 
 
Every year, fire departments respond to hundreds of Christmas Tree fires during the holiday season.
