UPDATE - Man Burglarizes Restaurant in Hauppauge, Leaving Driver's License and Watch at the Scene

Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Hauppauge restaurant early this morning.

There are no arrests. The investigation is continuing.

Update - December 19, 2016 - The man who burglarized The Sexy Salad in Hauppauge on December 17 made restitution to the business owner and the owner is no longer pursuing charges against the subject.

Hauppauge, NY - December 17, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Hauppauge restaurant early this morning.

A man entered The Sexy Salad located at 160 Adams Ave., Hauppauge at approximately 1:45 a.m. ate food, urinated in a garbage can and fell asleep on the floor. He left a New York State driver license and a watch at the scene.

There are no arrests. The investigation is continuing.
