NCPD Seeking Gun-Wielding Suspect in Connection with Uniondale Gas Station Robbery

An unknown male entered the Sunoco Gas Station at 1220 Hempstead Turnpike, displayed a handgun, and fled with currency, cops say.

Uniondale, NY - December 18, 2017 - The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 3:14 a.m. in Uniondale.
 
According to detectives, an unknown male subject entered the Sunoco Gas Station store located at 1220 Hempstead Turnpike and threated the two male victims, 45 and 61, both employees of the station, by displaying a handgun. The subject proceeded to take an undetermined amount of US currency out of the register. He then fled, on foot, eastbound on Hempstead Turnpike towards Cunningham Avenue.  No injuries were reported.
 
The subject is described as a male, black, approximately 18-25 years of age, 5’10’’, and 160 pounds. No further description of the subject is available.
