A new Tex mex restaurant opened in Wantagh recently. Featuring all the standard choices, Ole's Fajitas says it will be serving up sizzling meats, tangy sauces, cheesy sides and friendly service.

 

Their menu features their Macha Taco, topped with guacamole, salsa Fresca, pickled onion, Ranchito sauce, salsa macha and cotija cheese. Choice of protein like chicken ($5), shrimp ($6). Steak ($6), and also veggie ($4). They have their Mega Crunch Wrap, filled with rice, beans, tostadas, your choice of protein, shredded cheese, salsa Fresca, lettuce, sour cream, Ranchito sauce wrapped inside a hot flour tortilla and toasted on the griddle. Choose from beef ($9), chicken ($9), shrimp ($10), steak ($11), and veggie ($8).

Their burritos are folded in a hot flour tortilla with your choice of protein and topped with lettuce, salsa Fresca, pickled onion, shredded cheese, served with Ranchito sauce. Chicken ($9), shrimp ($10), steak ($11), and veggie ($8).

 

Quesadillas are filled with melted Mexican cheese and served with salsa Fresca, and Ranchito sauce and they also have a Southwest Salad loaded with fire-roasted corn, black beans, salsa Fresca, avocado, pickled onion, crispy tortilla strips, your choice of protein, served with Ole’s Ranchito sauce or your choice of dressing.

 

On Yelp, Keri R, from Seaford, gave them five stars. She got her food late but was forgiving because the restaurant was featured on a foodie Instagram page and probably weren’t expecting the influx of orders because of it. They had run out of food but the replacement orders still satisfied.

 

“The food was worth the wait,”: she said. “For them running out of food and still being able to scramble our order together I was impressed. I hope anyone who they had to turn away or waited a while for their order gives them a second chance!! I think they'll do really well there with the fresh quality food.”

“We got the chicken enchilada soup, nachos, steak burrito and a chicken crunch wrap,” kris wrote. “Everything was delicious! The steak burrito was especially good. The steak was extremely tender and yummy! We will be coming back here!!”
