Today's storm that hit Long Island was a doozy indeed, and few places were hit harder than Fire Island, as evidenced by the user-submitted video.
As the footage shows, the tide was far in, obscuring the entirety of the beach! In addition, huge waves - many frighteningly reaching the steps of the boardwalk - and heavy gusts of wind are seen battering the shoreline.
