Man Burglarizes Mosque in Bay Shore, Police Investigating

Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Bay Shore mosque early this morning.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this burglary to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Bay Shore, NY - December 20, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Bay Shore mosque early this morning.



A man pried open a door at Masjid Darul Quran, located at 1514 East 3rd Ave., and stole money from two donation boxes at 12:08 a.m.



The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this burglary to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
