Smithtown, NY - December 20, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta, as well as members of the Greater Smithtown Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the grand opening of Northwell Health Imaging at Smithtown.

The new, 10,000 square foot facility, located at 226 Middle Country Road in Smithtown, will give western Suffolk residents access to a full spectrum of diagnostic testing services – including MRI, low dose CT, ultrasound, digital X-ray, bone densitometry, image-guided biopsies and procedures. The center also offers comprehensive breast imaging services.

“Northwell employs highly trained and qualified professionals and provides quality care and state-of- the-art equipment, so I am proud to welcome them to the Smithtown community and to make their services available to our residents” said Legislator Robert Trotta.

Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.

Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Environment, Planning & Agriculture, Health, Public Works, Transportation & Energy, and Ways & Means Committees.
