This image shows a group of eight men in naval uniforms standing in front of a building. This is possibly the lifesaving crew at Napeague. The men are, from left to right: George Cornelius King, Nathan Brown, Pulaski Bennett, George Bennett, Isaac Lester, George Fithian, John Bartell, John S. Edwards (Keeper).

 

This photograph is part of the collection of the Carleton Kelsey Collection of the Amagansett Historical Association. Kelsey was a local historian and librarian who collected photographs from others to add  to the many photographs he took of the community himself.
