All fugitives apprehended were turned over to the respective wanting agencies.

Long Island, NY - December 21, 2015 - Between December 7th and December 18th, 2015 the New York State Police Violent Felony Warrant Squad assigned to Troop L and detailed with the United States Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force, took part in the following fugitive apprehensions:

  • Vincent Turrigiano, 41, of Elmont, NY was on Federal Probation for a sexual offense conviction and had pending state charges for Assault, Criminal Contempt and for violating an Order of Protection 
  • Jose Osmin-Rubio, 27, of Brentwood, NY was wanted by Homeland Security ICE for Homicide and Racketeering.
  • Rhyan Hammond-Greene, 19, of Roosevelt, NY was wanted by Nassau County Probation for Violation of Probation. 

All fugitives apprehended were turned over to the respective wanting agencies.
 
Established in 2002, the U.S Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force is composed of Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies with the sole mission of locating and arresting wanted fugitives.
