The Force is with us.
The Disney + Star Wars television show about a lone bounty hunter travelling the galaxy with a baby version of Yoda has been a viral hit, spawning homages and memes across the internet and lighting up social media.
Well, Baby Yoda has landed on Long Island.

First there was a cocktail at Prohibition Kitchen, a Port Jefferson restaurant. While the Baby Yoda isn’t on the menu, you can special order it.
Then Reddit user LIstunt posted a pic of Andaluz The Artist’s artwork at Burgerology in Huntington. The artist has done work all over Long Island (he had a Pokemon mural in Greenlawn that went viral in 2016.)

Andaluz The Artist is Efren Andaluz III a Queens-born artist who was heavily influenced by hip-hop and graffiti growing up. He was also inspired by Saturday morning cartoons and superheroes.
Andaluz now runs On Da Loose Designs in East Northport, helping startup companies with branding, logos, social media concepts and other creative ideas. In 2014, he created the Andaluz The Artist moniker and began creating videos of himself rapping and creating graffitti. After his Pokemon mural went viral in 2016 he began to get more exposure and create more large murals and art for galleries. Check out his Instagram account for more pics of his work.
Andaluz called this painting of Baby Yoda, "The Child's Dream."

“It's the image of the child holding the soup from the 3rd episode except I replaced the bowl of soup with a big juicy burger to represent Burgerology,” Andaluz wrote in an Instagram post. “I painted the Mandalorian armor on this baby Yoda to reflect the respect that the child has for his mandalorian friend.”
Locations: Burgerology, 308 Main St, Huntington; Prohibition Kitchen, 115 Main St, Port Jefferson.
