Two Jericho Firefighters Hospitalized After Responding to House Blaze, Officials Say

The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at 10:21 PM in Jericho.
 
According to detectives, officers responded to a house fire on Vista Drive in Jericho. The Jericho Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire with the assistance of multiple other fire departments. The home, which sustained significant damage, was attached to other residences which were also damaged. 
 
One firefighter was transported to an area hospital for an ankle injury and one firefighter was transported for difficulty breathing. 
 
The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
