If your New Year’s resolution consists of getting into shape you might want to make running the 8th Annual Catholic Health Suffolk County Marathon your goal in Fall 2022.

 

Registration recently opened for the annual race that consists of a marathon, half marathon, and 10K. The run will take place on October 23. A 5K will take place on Saturday October 22.

 

The marathon, half marathon, and 10K race will start in the Village of Babylon.

 

“Athletes will run one of the most scenic courses on Long Island, running across the Robert Moses Causeway,” the official race website describes.

 

The 5K will take place in Gardiner County Park in Bay Shore.

 

Proceeds from the races will directly support Suffolk Veterans’ causes and programming.
