Nassau County Police Department Enhances New Year’s Eve Patrols for DWI Enforcement

Nassau County Police Department will be patrolling the roadways through New Year’s Day in order to continue their effort to keep roadways safe.

Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder announce enhanced patrols to identify and arrest motorists driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol for the New Year’s Eve holiday. 
 
Nassau County Police Department will be patrolling the roadways through New Year’s Day in order to continue their effort to keep roadways safe and free from intoxicated and impaired drivers.  These heightened patrols will utilize STOP-DWI grant funds. 
 
Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder wish everyone a happy holiday season and urge drivers to use proper judgment to help keep our roads safe.
