The Third Squad reports the arrest of three male juveniles for an incident that occurred on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:20 pm in East Garden City.
According to Detectives, a 56-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of the blue parking garage near Macys when he was approached by three male subjects. One of the subjects pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s money. The victim, fearing for his life complied and handed over his money. The three subjects fled the scene.
Third Precinct officers conducted a thorough investigation and located the three subjects, ages 17,16 and 15, on a Nice bus at the Ring Road Nice Bus Terminal and were placed into police custody without incident. An imitation firearm was recovered. No injuries were reported.
All three juvenile defendants are charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Robbery 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. They will be arraigned on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
