I was born and raised in Japan. So I know this is authentic Japanese restuarnt. I would say this is upper middle class dinner. I like most of things here, but my favorite is Bento Box. Bento Box is a gathering of different foods. My boyfriend is American, and he loves Tsukimi Tori Don and Orion Beer. I always want to try Hamachi Kama, but it looks like most of the time they don't have it on weekends because they buy Hamachi(yellowtail) in the begginig of the week. Kama is fish neck. Don't be afraid to eat Kama! I think it is the most delicioust part of fish. If they are running out of Hamachi Kama, they tend to have Salmon Kama very often even though it is not on menu. There are many Japanese restaurants including authentic and not authentic, but not so many Japanese restaurants have Orion. Every time I come here, the waiter told me to have seat in narrow area, by the wall, so I never got to see how the entire space looks like, but I like the pictures on the wall. These pictures were taken in Japan, I guess, in 1960's. I heard these picture were taken by the owner of this restaurant. You can see what humble Japanese lifes in 60's were like.

The food here is authentic Japanese and very tasty. However, the wait staff can be very slow at times and even forget to bring the drinks. This has happened twice in the past month.
