Saab Key Programming

Saab cars built since 1994 feature an immobilizer system based on key codes. The addition of a key requires the purchase of a new transponder as well as special programming. This is usually done at the dealer using a Tech2 diagnostic tool.

The issue is that it can be quite costly. It is always advisable to keep an extra set of keys available.
