What is a Key?

A key is a metal lever used to open and lock the door. Keys can also be part of a musical instrument, like an organ or piano which controls the mechanism of its playing. Key is frequently used to describe a group of notes that form a scale or mode, or the sound or tone of the music piece. A symphony, as an example, is usually written in one key
