Pragmatics and Semantics

Many of the current philosophical approaches to pragmatics focus on semantics. Brandom for instance is focused on the significance of words (albeit from a pragmatic perspective).

Others take a more comprehensive view of pragmatics, such as relevance theory, which seeks to explore the understanding processes involved in an utterance made by a listene
