Fela Ransome-Kuti

Fela, politician and musician, was also a Pan-Africanist. He was a defender of African culture and was inspired by Black Power. He traveled to Ghana and came across new musical influences.

He wrote songs he intended to be political statements against the Nigerian government, and a global order that exploited Africa systematically. His music was radically r
