Key Programming and Data Transfer

Key programming is used to make a brand new key work. The process is typically performed by a dealer or locksmith.

To program a new key, place it into the ignition, then switch the key to the "On" position without launching the vehicle. This should be performed a certain number of times in a short period of time.
