Wheelchair ramps are designed to assist those who require mobility aids to get over hurdles like stairs. They also prevent the puddles and mud from blocking the wheels of wheelchairs, walkers or scooters.

ADA-compliant ramps must have level landings at directions, a non-slip surface and edge protection to ensure that the user is safe from falls or injuries.
