Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment provides a linear increase in a given stat.

Players can recycle six items at a time to gain a gauge for each item's upgraded component. The cost of recycling items scales depending on their rarity and level.
