Key Programming and Data Transfer

Key programming is used to make a brand new key work. This procedure is usually carried out by a locksmith or at a dealer.

To program the new key, simply insert it in the ignition and switch the key to "On" position without starting the car. This has to be done a specific number of times over short amount of time.
