World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrade feature for items lets players upgrade their existing equipment. This can be done at any item upgrade r NPC.

Generally, upgrades increase an item's main stat and give it extra benefits, based on the item type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs and Goldwrap for caster builds.
