Troubleshooting Problems With BMW Keys

Prior to the i8 and 7 Series, BMW keys were rather clunky black rectangles that needed to be inserted into the ignition slot to unlock and start the car. However, that all changed when the digital key came along.

However, can it be hacked? Also, can you use a keyfob that isn't genuine to enable Comfort Access in your BMW?
