What is Car Keys Programming?

Modern vehicles have a computer chip in the key fob that communicates with the vehicle. The key and the computer must be programmed to know each other (think Tinder) and this is known as car keys programming.

This can be done either by a locksmith, or a dealership depending on the car manufacturer. The procedure is a bit different however, it i
