Key Programming and Data Transfer

Key programming is the process used to make a brand new key work. This process is usually executed by a dealer or a locksmith.

To program a new key, place it into the ignition, then switch the key to the "On" position, without starting the car. This should be repeated a certain number of times in an extremely short time.
