A replacement for the key fob's battery is a cost-effective and quick DIY fix. The flat CR2032 battery can be found available and will fit into the small slot on the plastic housing of the fob. Take out the flat battery and replace it with a new one, ensuring the + symbol is facing downwards, as shown in the image below.
