A Class B CDL permits the driver to operate vehicles with a weight of up to 26,000 pounds. This includes school busses, tour buses segmented buses as well as dump trucks and box trucks with trailers that are small. A Class B driver might also be able to obtain an H (HazMat), a P (Passenger) or an N (Tank), endorsement by completing ELDT.
