Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft

Upgrades to items can be an excellent way to boost the value of your weapon and armor. However upgrading common equipment isn't worth the investment as uncommon or exclusive equipment will outclass it quickly.

Upgrades can be made to an item up to six times. Each upgrade will add points to the gauge for the item's level.
