Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer, develops in the linings that protect certain organs. It is typically found in the linings of the lungs or abdomen (peritoneum).

Asbestos-related exposure causes an increased chance of developing mesothelioma. These include people who worked with asbestos or lived near an asbestos mine or factory.
