ADHD Diagnosis in Adults

A licensed mental health professional (psychiatrists or neurologists, or family physicians) must be able to diagnose ADHD. The symptoms are analyzed using standardized behavior ratings scales based upon research that compares the behaviors of those with ADHD and those who do not have.
