New York Scooter Laws

In New York you can drive your scooter without a permit if it doesn't exceed 30 mph. However you must register it and have insurance.

New Mexico considers mopeds, motor scooters and other motor-driven bicycles as motorcycles, and requires the identical registration and titling requirements for motorcycles. You must also have liability insurance.
