Federal Employers Liability Act For Railroad Workers

Railroad workers are in danger when they perform their work environments, which is why they require protection. Congress approved the Federal Employers Liability Act, or FELA in 1908. This law allows railroad workers who suffer injuries to sue their employers. It also establishes uniform liability standards for the industry.
